Requirements for Joining:
To become a member of the Delta Phi Fraternity, you must be a man of outstanding character who exemplifies our three pillars of Friendship, Morality, and Literature.
PNM Academic/GPA Requirements:
As a potential new member, you must have completed one full semester at Rutgers University and have earned a minimum of 12 credits. You must also have a minimum GPA of 2.5
New Member Fees:
$250 for the semester.
Membership Expectations:
To increase your chances of receiving a bid, you are encouraged to attend as many rush events as possible. You are also required to attend at least 1 "Invite Only" event in order to be eligible to receive a bid to become a potential new member, or a PNM. As a PNM, you are expected to follow all guidelines set by the PNM Educator until the PNM process is complete. Once the PNM process is complete, and you are initiated as a new member/brother, you are required to attend weekly meetings (i.e. "chapter"), pay your membership fees (i.e. "dues") consistently and in a timely manner to the fraternity, and to participate in all rush, philanthropic, social, and community service events held by the fraternity. You are also encouraged to compete in the inter-fraternity intramural league known as the Keller League.
Alcohol Policy:
Delta Phi has a strict zero-tolerance policy on underage drinking and alcohol usage during the PNM process.
Hazing Policy:
Delta Phi has a zero-tolerance policy on hazing during the PNM process. No brother of our organization would partake in any action that would tarnish our reputation as gentlemen. If, however, you would like to learn more about Rutgers University's policy on hazing, visit the following website:
